The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philip Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Wenerdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Öberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Sebastian Blomkvist made a huge save. Sebastian Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Öberg in the 15th minute of play. Segelbut IF U21's Philip Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Finman in the 20th minute of play. Sebastian Blomkvist made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Alfons Öberg sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, MaLe FC's Sebastian Blomkvist got control of the ball when Dag Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfons Öberg in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Blomkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Ahlrot in the 31st minute of play. Alfons Öberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Sebastian Blomkvist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Blomkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Larsson. In the 35th match minute, MaLe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Algren to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Blomkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Larsson in the 43rd minute. Alfons Öberg scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Blomkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Öberg to make the kick off. Johannes Finman hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Torbjörn Bern fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MaLe FC's protests and gave Torbjörn Bern a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Torbjörn Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Blomkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Öberg in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Segelbut IF U21 booed when MaLe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Sörman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Segelbut IF U21's Frans Ahlrot made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Blomkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, MaLe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Öberg came free, but Sebastian Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the MaLe FC defense, Dag Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Blomkvist. The MaLe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Blomkvist should have stopped the shot. After 85 played minutes MaLe FC got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Sörman. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind MaLe FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Blomkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolf Algren got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes MaLe FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Algren. Sebastian Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Öberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Springfält in the 94th minute of play forced MaLe FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Segelbut IF U21 were the better team. Segelbut IF U21's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
