Stig-Ove Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Bäckström in the 15th minute of play. Samurai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roger Kalfhage in the 16th minute. Stig-Ove Håkansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Smefeldt's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Stig-Ove Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Bäckström in the 21st minute of the match. Fredrik Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Östensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Lund in the 26th minute of play. Mattias Smefeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Håkansson having to interfere. Fredrik Bennet was a little too slow when Karl-Åke Östensson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. If Karl-Ove Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Smefeldt to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Annedal FC's Torsten Ahlén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Norberg in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Bennet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars Björkdal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Niklas Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 77th minute, Niklas Norberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
