Karl Asserlind's late challenge caught a Agunnaryd IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Asserlind helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Annedal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Asserlind to maneuver through the defense. Ragnar Hedbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Felin having to interfere. Karl-Åke Östensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc Lundgren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Nyberg in the 36th minute of play forced Agunnaryd IK's goalkeeper Marc Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Anders Ånger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Niklas Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Annedal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Jonsson couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Agunnaryd IK defense, Karl-Ove Nyberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Lundgren. The Agunnaryd IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Lundgren should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Nyberg in the 45th minute of play forced Agunnaryd IK's goalkeeper Marc Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Hedbom to make the kick off. Jerry Felin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskil Albäck in the 65th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Karl Asserlind had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc Lundgren. Agunnaryd IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Asserlind was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Nyberg in the 75th minute of play forced Agunnaryd IK's goalkeeper Marc Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olov Stensson fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agunnaryd IK's protests and gave Olov Stensson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Annedal FC booed when Agunnaryd IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Stensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Karl Asserlind recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marc Lundgren. Karl Asserlind showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 83rd match minute, Annedal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Eskil Albäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Felin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Annedal FC's Bengt-Rune Hegg got a free kick in the 87th minute. Karl-Ove Nyberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marc Lundgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marc Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Asserlind in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Annedal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agunnaryd IK throughout the match.
