In the 9th minute, Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Stefan Hjortsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Hjalmar Kråk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Calle Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Grep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Calle Helberg came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Björnlunda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Helberg couldn't finish the play. Hjalmar Kråk was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Björnlunda IF from getting a goal against them. Hjalmar Kråk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Eric Olofsson made a huge save. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Helberg in the 83rd minute of play. Björnlunda IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille scored to the left of an out of position Eric Olofsson, making the score, 0-3. 96 minutes into the match, Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Eric Olofsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hjalmar Kråk. Lirarnas Lag were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Björnlunda IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hjalmar Kråk took the corner. Hjalmar Kråk made a great header on Lirarnas Lag's corner, it was just that Björnlunda IF's Eric Olofsson managed to reach the ball for a save. The Björnlunda IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lirarnas Lag were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
