Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Sören Löfgren had several of the Almaröds FF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Olov Grubb as he didn't even see the shot coming. Slavia Skattungbyn's Sören Löfgren suffered a sore thigh after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rune Skålberg's late challenge caught a Slavia Skattungbyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Skålberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, one of Almaröds FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Almaröds FF. The supporters of Slavia Skattungbyn booed when Almaröds FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Pååk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Grubb acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ian Kilström. A collision led to Almaröds FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joachim Pååk hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Törnkvist to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Hurtig's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Olov Grubb skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 26 in the game by Rickard Hurtig from a close distance when the talented Olov Grubb managed to make a qualified save. Almaröds FF's players were relieved. Joachim Pååk hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Ian Kilström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Söderlund made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Torbjörn Beck immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes in the game, Ian Kilström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Olov Grubb having to interfere. Emil Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the game Robert Söderlund made a throw-in which Joachim Örtendahl played forward. In the 38th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Pååk to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 40 minutes, Rickard Hurtig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slavia Skattungbyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Hurtig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes of play, Slavia Skattungbyn's Ian Kilström made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Grubb was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Ambjörnsson to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ian Kilström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavia Skattungbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Kilström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 52 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Kilström came free, but Olov Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ian Kilström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slavia Skattungbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Kilström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Grubb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoffer Lövgren was a little too slow when Martin Skröder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 4-1. Olov Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Kilström in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Almaröds FF's Torbjörn Beck got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th match minute, Slavia Skattungbyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Kilström to maneuver through the defense. Ian Kilström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Olov Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slavia Skattungbyn's Ian Kilström got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Kilström in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Ian Kilström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
