Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Browald, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes in the game Wilhelm Sjöberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Christian Ahlroht. 17 minutes into the game, Maximilian Browald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Åke Gustafsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute Maximilian Browald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bo Kleen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gert Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Gert Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Ghost Hunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Caspersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Gustafsson having to interfere. Åke Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Browald in the 34th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gert Håkansson got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Åke Gustafsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Njurenius in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Njurenius to make the kick off. Ghost Hunters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Adam Svanér got a free kick in the 60th minute. Sigvard Njurenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Åke Gustafsson made a huge save. In the 64th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Kleen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Njurenius in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Åke Gustafsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Mickelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigvard Njurenius. Åke Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Maximilian Browald sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the game Christian Ahlroht made a throw-in which Maximilian Browald played forward. Oxel Moron charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oxel Moron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oxel Moron hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Sven Bäckman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigvard Njurenius in the 93rd minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
