Huvudstaden's Edgar Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Esbjörnsson in the 3rd minute of play. Kjell-Arne Skott scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Österberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 9th minute of play forced Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Edgar Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Ronnys Lärjungar's Tommy Beck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Österberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, Tommy Beck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Österberg. Huvudstaden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Beck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Kjell-Arne Skott put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Österberg. Börje Axelsson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Kjell-Arne Skott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Kjell-Arne Skott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Österberg. In the 34th minute, Patrik Ahlrot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Edgar Österberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Ahlrot in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Österberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After 45 minutes of play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Patrik Ahlrot made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Österberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Patrik Ahlrot came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Österberg could save by the left post. Ronnys Lärjungar's Edvin Bruhn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Billvall in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute George Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Skott in the 58th minute of the match. Patrik Ahlrot's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgar Österberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Bengt Mellbad got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ronnys Lärjungar's Sverker Björk was substituted for Tommy Beck. Bengt Mellbad hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Bergman during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Huvudstaden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Bergman to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes Huvudstaden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patrik Ahlrot who took care of the corner kick. George Esbjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Tomas Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78th play minutes Kjell-Arne Skott shot 0-11, a short shot which went by Edgar Österberg and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80th minute, George Esbjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Bengt Mellbad got a free kick in the 81st minute. George Esbjörnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Edgar Österberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kjell-Arne Skott took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Österberg. Edgar Österberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Bengt Mellbad kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Sverker Björk made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Österberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's Kåre Mattsson got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The long shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 96th minute really tested Edgar Österberg's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
