Sören Termander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sune Bålström went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sören Termander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 汪希瑜, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Hägglund in the 19th minute of play forced Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Sören Termander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urban Ahlberg hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 汪希瑜 scored 0-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Termander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Sune Bålström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Termander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Skoog in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sören Termander saved Gunnarsbyn from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Stigsson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Gunnarsbyn booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragnar Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Stigsson in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AIF's Kent Hägglund got a free kick in the 61st minute. Gunnarsbyn's Sören Termander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnarsbyn from getting a goal against them. 汪希瑜's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sören Termander firmly grabbed it by the left post.
