Markus Fågel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Karl-Magnus Skark sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Erik Tunberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Dahlquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Tunberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Hammarby Gård defense, Jan-Erik Tunberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Dahlquist. The Hammarby Gård fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Dahlquist should have stopped the shot. Jan-Erik Tunberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hammarby Gård's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roy Johnsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Polly Magoo Juniors's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Alf Bredberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 32 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Tunberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Oskar Dahlquist. Hammarby Gård's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Erik Tunberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Dahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jörgen Forsberg made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Polly Magoo Juniors's Håkan Valrot. Håkan Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Polly Magoo Juniors's Isak Stålman was substituted for Jan-Erik Tunberg. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hammarby Gård! After the first half Polly Magoo Juniors were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Skark was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Isak Stålman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Dahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Rudkvist to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Isak Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polly Magoo Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isak Stålman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hammarby Gård's Sven-Oskar Dahlquist got control of the ball when Isak Stålman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Hammarby Gård's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Dahlquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Stålman. With a little luck, Hammarby Gård's Sven-Oskar Dahlquist got control of the ball when Isak Stålman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Isak Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Polly Magoo Juniors's Isac Wållander was substituted for Gösta Bergman. Polly Magoo Juniors's Kenny Pavey was substituted for Alf Bredberg. In the 77th minute, Bertil Wennersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Skark, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Hammarby Gård's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Dahlquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Stålman. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hammarby Gård getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Simon Svanberg hit a great ball. Markus Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Arenius in the 86th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenny Pavey in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Hammarby Gård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes Hammarby Gård got a freekick which was hit by Anders Östman. 94 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Roy Johnsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Dahlquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isak Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Dahlquist having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Polly Magoo Juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
