Maido Niit charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maido Niit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maido Niit to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maido Niit in the 31st minute of play forced Trixande Fåglar BK's goalkeeper Arvid Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maido Niit, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Oskar Levander made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Peter Ahlquist. 43 minutes into the match, Maido Niit notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Trixande Fåglar BK's Arvid Jansson. Arvid Jansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Rönn got free with Wang Cheng in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joachim Hägglund made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Hägglund in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wang Cheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Åström's late challenge caught a Gärsnäs BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
