Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan-Erik Askberg started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Jan-Erik Askberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Hultman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute of the match Sten Jönsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kjell-Arne Hultman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Oakcroft Thrashers's Jan-Erik Askberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell-Arne Hultman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Vallin in the 18th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play MAFFIAN's Leonard Hedlund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Leonard Hedlund hit a great ball. When Carl Apelqvist came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Apelqvist couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Hellqvist in the 27th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wassenius hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Hellqvist to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Max Håning got a free kick in the 46th minute. Oakcroft Thrashers's Sten Jönsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAFFIAN. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 51 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Robin Zander. Max Håning hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 56 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Max Håning. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Kent Hultman managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Hultman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Max Håning hit a great ball. Oakcroft Thrashers's Nils Hellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Kjell-Arne Hultman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Mark Widberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oakcroft Thrashers the free kick. With a little luck, MAFFIAN's Kjell-Arne Hultman got control of the ball when Nils Hellqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Max Håning. When Max Håning fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Max Håning a yellow card for diving instead. The MAFFIAN supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Oakcroft Thrashers's performance. The match ended with a win for Oakcroft Thrashers.
