Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan Larsson kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Sävedalen's Ulrik Gudmundsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kurt Majman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Åkesson having to interfere. Arne Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulrik Gudmundsson in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Åke Nordlander saved FF Små Gröna Män from getting behind. Arne Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Majman in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Kurt Majman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Jan Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Larsson in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sävedalen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stig Käller was slow to take the kick. During this time FF Små Gröna Män's players had a chance to rest. 43 minutes into the game, Christian Walroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sävedalen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FF Små Gröna Män the free kick. A collision led to Sävedalen getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Christian Walroth hit a great ball. Kurt Majman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulrik Gudmundsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arne Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute.
