Charles Carlsson made in the 5th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anders Giliusson. Ludwig Johnssons short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Isidoro Valentine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Arnaldo Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Arnaldo Johansson made a precise shot to the right of Eric Carlsson. Gafflarna IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Arnaldo Johansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ludwig Johnsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Gafflarna IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Johnsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of DZ Blue booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Giliusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Arnaldo Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ludwig Johnssons short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Isidoro Valentine to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half DZ Blue were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Johansson made a kick off. The supporters of DZ Blue booed when Gafflarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Tomasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Almqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Eric Carlsson made a huge save. Ludwig Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Valentine having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Gafflarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Bollström to maneuver through the defense. DZ Blue made a substitution. Ola Holmgren replaced Arnaldo Johansson. In the 61st minute, Dan Bollström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Ludwig Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Gafflarna IF's Eric Carlsson got control of the ball when Ola Holmgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Carlsson having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Dan Bollström threw the ball into play from the sideline. DZ Blue's Daniel Hamnberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the match was over DZ Blue could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gafflarna IF throughout the match.
