In the 10th minute, Per-Åke Lundgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnesta Oilers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dan Palmquist came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Per-Åke Lundgren. But to his dismay, Per-Åke Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Holger Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Holger Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Palmquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Hammarberg in the 22nd minute. Dan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Lundgren in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Hammarberg came free, but Dan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Per-Åke Lundgren made a precise shot to the right of Dan Palmquist. Djurgården IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Dan Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Lundgren in the 28th minute of play. Kasper Vallman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Palmquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Kasper Vallman slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. Dan Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lars Hammarberg sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gottfrid Eriksson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Per-Åke Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Vallman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Holger Vennerlund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Kinnman went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Kasper Vallman sped through Djurgården IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Palmquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Lundgren in the 64th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Dan Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Vallman came free, but Dan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Palmquist came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Gnesta Oilers's Per-Åke Lundgren. But to his dismay, Per-Åke Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
