After a defensive mix-up in The Reds's zone, Stig Rönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Nässén came out of the goal and Stig Rönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvin Malmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ingvar Bark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernt Nässén. The Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Bark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Reds's Sven-Erik Ekgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aron Tholsson in the 44 minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Ekedalen SK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bengt-Rune Knutsson hit a great ball. Bernt Nässén was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stig Rönn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Stig Rönn scored 0-6 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernt Nässén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bengt-Rune Knutsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Bernt Nässén when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernt Nässén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Bark in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Ingvar Bark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernt Nässén.
