After 3 played minutes Sledgehammer KO got a freekick which was hit by Eric Ahlfors. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Kjellkvist got free with Andy Rosin in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Herman Abrahamsson put in a rough tackle. After 8 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Herman Abrahamsson. Sledgehammer KO's Carl Wennerquist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Doffes Damer. 12 minutes into the match, Brian Samuelsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Åke Kleen. Doffes Damer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Samuelsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Doffes Damer's Bengt-Åke Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Samuelsson in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Orvar Svanberg hit a great ball. Mathias Bark kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Verner Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doffes Damer's supporters rose to their feet, but Verner Kjellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Rosin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doffes Damer's Bengt-Åke Kleen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Johansson in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arman Uter hit a great ball. After 29 minutes, Brian Samuelsson made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Doffes Damer's Bengt-Åke Kleen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bengt-Åke Kleen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Johansson in the 34th minute of the match. Brian Samuelsson took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Åke Kleen. Bengt-Åke Kleen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Bengt-Åke Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Johansson in the 38th minute of play. Verner Kjellkvist struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Andy Rosin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doffes Damer. Sledgehammer KO's Torgny Biörkman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sledgehammer KO's Brian Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Eric Ahlfors got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Bengt-Åke Kleen came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Sledgehammer KO's Brian Samuelsson. But to his dismay, Brian Samuelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 58 minutes into the game, Sledgehammer KO's Örjan Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt-Åke Kleen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Bengt-Åke Kleen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fredrik Stenquist hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Eric Ahlfors took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Bengt-Åke Kleen to make any attempt to save it. Bengt-Åke Kleen came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Sledgehammer KO's Brian Samuelsson. But to his dismay, Brian Samuelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Andy Rosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Kjellkvist in the 79th minute of the match. Benjamin Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Andy Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Johansson got free with Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Bengt-Åke Kleen got control of the ball when Torgny Biörkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Mathias Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Doffes Damer supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sledgehammer KO's performance. The match ended with a win for Sledgehammer KO.
