In the 7th minute, AC Trollebo's Ball Pitt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Håkan Söderberg. Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Kråk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AC Trollebo booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Fors didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Västlund to maneuver through the defense. Håkan Söderberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sigvard Danielsson. In the 20th minute, Cássio Rocks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fredrik Isak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fredrik Isak hit a great ball. Åke Fors kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. AC Trollebo's Rüknettin Bağdaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rüknettin Bağdaş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rüknettin Bağdaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Fors to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Rocks came free, but Håkan Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Degerfors IF! Håkan Söderberg had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Sigvard Danielsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Åke Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rüknettin Bağdaş having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Cumhur Birge in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Trollebo's goalkeeper Rüknettin Bağdaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rüknettin Bağdaş made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Åke Fors sent off a good shot on target. Rüknettin Bağdaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Fors in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes AC Trollebo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christian Håkansson who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Cássio Rocks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
