In the 40th minute of the match, Brian Samuelsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrick Samuelsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 50th match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Sandwall to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Johansson in the 54th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Patrick Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Melchester Rovers booed when Sledgehammer KO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Patrick Samuelsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Mårten Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melchester Rovers's Patrick Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Biörkman in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Sledgehammer KO getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eric Ahlfors hit a great ball. Patrick Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Biörkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kaj Sandwall hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute Torgny Biörkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Samuelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torgny Biörkman went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Kaj Jonasson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Rosin. Sledgehammer KO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Jonasson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. 90 minutes into the match, Mårten Abrahamsson notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Sledgehammer KO's Andy Rosin. Andy Rosin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Andy Rosin managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Melchester Rovers's Mårten Abrahamsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
