When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Bennet made a kick off. Holger Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Trulsson in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Hägglund came free, but Holger Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Hägglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Torbjörn Hägglund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Johnsson having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Torbjörn Hägglund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Johnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. IFK Gladdarna's Emil Trulsson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Hägglund notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Protegéerna's Holger Johnsson. Holger Johnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Emil Trulsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Gladdarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1.
