Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) RB Buzău's Leontin Bungescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Creteanu in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gandalf Grey in the 5th minute of play forced RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Iosif Bordeianu got a free kick in the 12th minute. When The Valar's Cătălin Creteanu in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 29 minutes, Cătălin Creteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Valar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Creteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 played minutes RB Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Anton Nebunu. In the 32nd minute Olimpiu Postelnicescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Lupea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Creteanu in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Cătălin Creteanu made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of RB Buzău booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Creteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nistor Balint came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the RB Buzău fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Balint couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as The Valar's Damian Dăscălescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigel Lupea. That made the score 0-5 after 78 minutes of play. The supporters of RB Buzău booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Creteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gandalf Grey. In the 93rd match minute, RB Buzău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Balint to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Dăscălescu got free with Gigel Lupea in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
