Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudiu Iorgovan got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, George Ţăranu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Lupea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Creteanu in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Cătălin Creteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gigel Lupea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Creteanu in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Cătălin Creteanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Claudiu Iorgovan made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Lupea. RB Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The Valar's Damian Dăscălescu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigel Lupea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cătălin Creteanu in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Damian Dăscălescu made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Lupea. RB Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 40th play minutes Cătălin Creteanu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Gigel Lupea and just under the crossbar into goal. Cătălin Creteanu scored 5-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gigel Lupea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iustin Belu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Claudiu Iorgovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Traian Voina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Păuceanu to maneuver through the defense. Emil Ioviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Robu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RB Buzău's zone, Emil Hortopan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Lupea came out of the goal and Emil Hortopan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gigel Lupea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Hortopan went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, RB Buzău's George Ţăranu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Creteanu in the 77th minute of play forced RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Lupea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Iorgovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. RB Buzău's Gigel Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Creteanu in the 81st minute of play. After 82nd play minutes Cătălin Creteanu shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Gigel Lupea and just under the crossbar into goal. Claudiu Iorgovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Claudiu Iorgovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Lupea was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
