Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Corneliu Druga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Mihail Juverdeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Bălan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4thth minute of the game Matei Onaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Caciulescu. 7 minutes into the game, Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Bălan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Burdujan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Lupulescu to maneuver through the defense. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Onaca in the 13th minute of play. Matei Onaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Bălan having to interfere. Marian Bălan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Onaca in the 16th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Matei Onaca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Bălan. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Onaca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Onaca didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Burdujan in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Marian Bălan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee got control of the ball when Corneliu Druga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matei Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marian Bălan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vintilă Lupulescu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Matei Onaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Bălan having to interfere. Stiinta-Univ.'s Mircea Creangă suffered a sore thigh after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Corneliu Druga's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corneliu Druga helped the player get up and apologised. Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Corduneanu was substituted for Mircea Creangă. Corneliu Druga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Manuel Burdujan put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Marian Bălan. 45 minutes into the match, Matei Onaca notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan. Marian Bălan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Onaca made a kick off. Manuel Burdujan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Marian Bălan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Remus Stolniceanu hit a great ball. Marian Bălan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Onaca in the 61st minute of play. Manuel Burdujan might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Bălan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Burdujan ran back to his position shaking his head. Marian Bălan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Onaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Matei Onaca scored 0-7 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marian Bălan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Cocârlă was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt:s Marian Bălan showed great skill when he stopped Horaţiu Corduneanu:s penalty. Manuel Burdujan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marian Bălan came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Burdujan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 77th minute. Manuel Burdujan got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marian Bălan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Stiinta-Univ.'s Matei Onaca in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie prevented a goal. Marian Bălan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matei Onaca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 90 minute of play.
