Călin Barbosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Boroș in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Puric didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicodim Arghirescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cazimir Traian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codrin Aalexoaiei scored 0-3 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Barbosu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codrin Sucigan might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Barbosu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Călin Barbosu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicodim Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Traian in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Eusebiu Boroș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Barbosu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 40 minutes of play, Carpathian Wolves's Codrin Aalexoaiei made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Barbosu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The wind increased when Cazimir Traian made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Boroș came free, but Călin Barbosu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Boroș in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute Costică Popa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Eusebiu Boroș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpathian Wolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebiu Boroș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Călin Barbosu was a little too slow when Codrin Sucigan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-12. In the 85th minute Eusebiu Boroș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Barbosu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Boroș in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Carpathian Wolves's Codrin Aalexoaiei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Barbosu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Carpathian Wolves's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
