The supporters of The Owls booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Musta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Pordea to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes The Owls got a freekick which was hit by Robert Uncescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Perșa in the 52nd minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Ionuț Lungu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee gave The Huns a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robert Bot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of The Owls's Ionuț Lungu. 2-0. Sabin Tirulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the The Owls defense, Robert Bot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionuț Lungu. The The Owls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionuț Lungu should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Ifrim came free, but Martin Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Owls's Ionuț Lungu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Voina in the 87th minute of play. Felix Musta got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Musta to maneuver through the defense. The Huns's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
