Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 17thth minute of the game Vintilă Hălmăgeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granicerul's Remus Vuia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Vintilă Hălmăgeanu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Remus Vuia. The audience was convinced that Eugen Boldur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Vuia was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 41st minute Jack Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Ianculescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dino Zoff made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Boldur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Iordache Ioneasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Zoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Boldur in the 88th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Vuia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugen Boldur in the 88th minute. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Boldur, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
