Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Lucian Marioteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Scheia defense, Damian Şoimaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Mortu. The Scheia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Mortu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Vlas in the 15th minute of play forced Scheia's goalkeeper Ernest Mortu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Vlas scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Mortu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mugur Tadici's late challenge caught a FC ciufulici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mugur Tadici helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 22 minutes, George Giurcă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ciufulici's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Giurcă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Damian Şoimaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ciufulici fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Victor Curăreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Edgar Vlas put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Ernest Mortu. Scheia's Dan Florean quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rareș Antonescu, made in the 41st minute of the game. Scheia's Ernest Mortu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şoimaru in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Aluneanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Viorel Aluneanu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viorel Aluneanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Scheia got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Mălăncioiu. In the 56th minute, Edgar Vlas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Vlass short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Ernest Mortu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 59 minutes of play, FC ciufulici's George Giurcă made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernest Mortu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dan Florean fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scheia's protests and gave Dan Florean a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Scheia's Dan Florean got a free kick in the 63rd minute. FC ciufulici's Edgar Comarnescu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Scheia's Ernest Mortu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Scheia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Zglobiu got free with Ernest Mortu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernest Mortu. That made the score 0-7 after 69 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Ernest Mortu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Scheia's Ernest Mortu got control of the ball when Damian Şoimaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest Mortu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Comarnescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Scheia defense, George Giurcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernest Mortu. The Scheia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernest Mortu should have stopped the shot. Ioan Almăgean kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. With a little luck, Scheia's Ernest Mortu got control of the ball when Damian Şoimaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernest Mortu came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas. But to his dismay, Edgar Vlas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Edgar Comarnescu took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernest Mortu. Ernest Mortu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. FC ciufulici's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
