The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Vergulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dinu Vrânceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Codruț Ferenț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Cozmâncă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Codruț Ferenț in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gelu Ţintea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 19th minute of the match. Augustin Nechifor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Ţintea having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Augustin Nechifor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gelu Ţintea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute of the match, Costin Iorgu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gelu Ţintea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 33 minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Paulescu who took care of the corner kick. Dinu Vrânceanu made a great header on FC Steaua Pildesti's corner, it was just that GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Gelu Ţintea managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 34th minute, Dinu Gherguț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Tilea to maneuver through the defense. Dinu Vrânceanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gelu Ţintea. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Augustin Nechifor kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costin Iorgu made a kick off. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Petre Pășcuțoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Filip Paulescu went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Costin Iorgu at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. 2-0. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă got control of the ball when Petre Pășcuțoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Gelu Ţintea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Dinu Gherguț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Pășcuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Ţintea came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Filip Paulescu. But to his dismay, Filip Paulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. Moise Irod hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Alin Maxim. Gelu Ţintea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Iorgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When George Tilea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. George Tilea kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Filip Paulescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Ţintea skillfully saved the ball. Gelu Ţintea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Steaua Pildesti had played much better football throughout.
