Flavius Izbașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu in the 4th minute of play. Flavius Izbașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Hănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Viola Invest's zone, Gigi Barbu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavius Izbașa came out of the goal and Gigi Barbu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Izbașa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Hănescu in the 6th minute of the match. Viola Invest's Flavius Izbașa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Barbu in the 7th minute of play. Flavius Izbașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marcu Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Viola Invest's George Teodoreanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Marcu Vlas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viola Invest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcu Vlas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Viola Invest booed when BANAT VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Bleoancă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BANAT VIOLA's zone, Florin Răducioiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Miconi came out of the goal and Florin Răducioiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, one of Viola Invest:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viola Invest. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for BANAT VIOLA. Liviu Hănescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Flavius Izbașa. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Hănescu in the 29th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Flavius Izbașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calistrat Enoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as BANAT VIOLA's Isac Răduț slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavius Izbașa. That made the score 1-2 after 50 minutes of play. Emilian Comăneci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Flavius Izbașa made a huge save. Nae Bărboianu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Flavius Izbașa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Hănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Emilian Comăneci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Flavius Izbașa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Hănescu in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavius Izbașa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavius Izbașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Hănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. BANAT VIOLA were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Viola Invest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iustinian Negulici took the corner. In the 73rd minute, Marcu Vlas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavius Izbașa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Gigi Barbu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavius Izbașa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gigi Barbu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Costică Chira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Flavius Izbașa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Cornel Stoicea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isac Răduț got free with Flavius Izbașa in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by George Teodoreanu. In the 93rd minute, BANAT VIOLA's Liviu Hănescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavius Izbașa. Flavius Izbașa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. BANAT VIOLA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
