Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Eugen Pânzariu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristinel Bocaneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Borcea having to interfere. MIT were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after RED BLUE STAR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liviu Ciolacu took the corner. The corner led MIT's Liviu Ciolacu to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicolae Borcea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicolae Borcea made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cristinel Bocaneț sent off a good shot on target. In the 16thth minute of the game Iustin Chificeac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute MIT were awarded a corner. Liviu Ciolacu went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Chificeac in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolae Borcea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Bulă in the 19th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Nicolae Borcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Borcea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Chificeac in the 20th minute of play. RED BLUE STAR's Nicolae Borcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 23rd minute of play. Aron Uncescu's late challenge caught a RED BLUE STAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Uncescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Aron Uncescu. In the 26th minute of the match Vintilă Ilie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vlad Anghel skillfully saved the ball. Eugen Pânzariu scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Anghel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Bocaneț during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Bocaneț to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, RED BLUE STAR's Ferdinand Pociu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vlad Anghel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RED BLUE STAR reached it. 34 minutes into the match, Iustin Chificeac dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolae Borcea, 2-1. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Iustin Chificeac sped through RED BLUE STAR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolae Borcea. Nicolae Borcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustin Chificeac, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Iustin Chificeac managed to get in a good position for a shot. MIT's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Chificeac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolae Borcea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustin Chificeac to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucian Mangra struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Nicolae Borcea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIT. In the 53rd minute Iustin Chificeac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolae Borcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Chificeac in the 54th minute of play forced RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Nicolae Borcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, RED BLUE STAR's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Ciolacu came free, but Nicolae Borcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind RED BLUE STAR's goalkeeper Nicolae Borcea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iustin Chificeac scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolae Borcea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Iustin Chificeac came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustin Chificeac couldn't finish the play. When Cristinel Bocaneț was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 69th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Bocaneț to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of RED BLUE STAR booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustin Chificeac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Perșa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Ilie during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RED BLUE STAR's Vintilă Ilie got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of MIT booed when RED BLUE STAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Şoimaru didn't get a good kick on the ball.
