Cristinel Nicodim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Alex Buzincu made a huge save. Ilie Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Rogozea in the 6th minute of play. BlueLionesse's Ilie Crainic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Carabulea in the 10th minute of play. Radu Pânzaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Alex Buzincu made a huge save. Matthew Tielve kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Cristinel Nicodim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BlueLionesse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mailat in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Nicodim took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Buzincu. Alex Buzincu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mailat in the 27th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Mihail Albu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Buzincu. Mihail Albu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 34th minute Cristinel Nicodim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Buzincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Crainic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Năsturel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alex Buzincu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Nicodim in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Castel Prabes came free, but Ilie Crainic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes FC Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Vlădoiu. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Alex Buzincu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. BlueLionesse were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC Buzău's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radu Pânzaru took the corner. When Cristinel Nicodim, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 46 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alex Buzincu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristinel Nicodim made a kick off. Andrei Rogozea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ilie Crainic made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, BlueLionesse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Isăilă to maneuver through the defense. Ilie Crainic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Ţiţeica in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match FC Buzău got a corner. BlueLionesse's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionuț Năsturel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of FC Buzău booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Tielve didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Mihăiţă Iriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radu Pânzaru struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alex Buzincu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BlueLionesse. BlueLionesse's Ilie Crainic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save BlueLionesse from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Nicodim in the 76th minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Alex Buzincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, FC Buzău's Andrei Rogozea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilie Crainic. Ilie Crainic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. When Mihăiţă Iriza fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Buzău's protests and gave Mihăiţă Iriza a yellow card for diving instead. Mihăiţă Iriza kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Castel Prabes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, BlueLionesse's Radu Pânzaru tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, BlueLionesse's Cristinel Nicodim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Buzincu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Alex Buzincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Albu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Kasım Onuktekin hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Panait Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panait Aluneanu during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panait Aluneanu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Buzău players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for BlueLionesse.
