Octav Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jock Tare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Tănăsie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Octav Hortopan made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Harhoiu came free, but Octav Hortopan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan got control of the ball when Jock Tare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dan Filimon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Octav Hortopan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vlad Agusoaei. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Harhoiu in the 31st minute of play. Octav Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Harhoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adam Tănăsie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octav Hortopan. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Sântimbrean was the one to do the kick off. When -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Jock Tare in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 67 minutes of play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Dan Filimon made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Big Saver was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Emil Harhoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Ghimiș charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ioan Ghimiș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Ioan Ghimiș got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Emil Harhoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jock Tare in the 85th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes, Panait Păun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni and the -BZF- Barca de Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to -BZF- Fc Gheraseni getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Panait Păun hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Jock Tare made a precise shot to the right of Octav Hortopan. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the -BZF- Barca de Buzau players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
