Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Golo Phoenix took the kick off in the first half of the match. Golo Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Xiao Chao Yan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dacian Ghițescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Chao Yan in the 6th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Ghițescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 14th minute FC BaLiSt were awarded a corner. Traian Nanu went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Traian Nanu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dacian Ghițescu to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Strong Phoenix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yang Wei in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dacian Ghițescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dacian Ghițescu was a little too slow when Binali Koytan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. After 33 minutes, Eugen Braniște mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BaLiSt and the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC BaLiSt! The referee gave PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucian Şimonca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov. 4-1. When Xiao Chao Yan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xiao Chao Yan couldn't finish the play. Xiao Chao Yan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Ghițescu having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yang Wei to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Mihăilescu got free with Chi Tzalov in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yang Wei in the 52nd minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Yang Wei got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Dacian Ghițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yang Wei's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Binali Koytan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Lucian Şimonca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chi Tzalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Wei in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Traian Nanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Ghițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Nanu in the 64th minute of play forced PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Nanu came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Binali Koytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân was substituted for Felix Mihăilescu. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Chao Yan in the 72nd minute of the match. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Chao Yan in the 76th minute of play. When PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Virgil Jupân in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC BaLiSt's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Virgil Jupân who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BaLiSt's Chi Tzalov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yang Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dacian Ghițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Aristide Fetea got a free kick in the 85th minute. Yang Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Dorin Stroici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC BaLiSt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. FC BaLiSt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Traian Nanu in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC BaLiSt had played much better football throughout.
