With an all-out effort, Chlory's Rafal Wydrych threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Waclaw Sniegowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emil Dziedelonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waclaw Sniegowski in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafal Wydrych saved GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW from getting behind. If Patryk Jurgiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Zdzislaw Wyrzykowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Orlicki was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Rafal Wydrych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grzegorz Okraszewski in the 30th minute. Robert Babicki's late challenge caught a Chlory's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Jurgiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
