Gortaty's Karol Kopacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Kostka in the 9th minute of play. In the 23rd play minute Cezary Kostka came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karol Kopacz. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Cezary Kostka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Karol Kopacz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Gortaty booed when AP Tempo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waclaw Zbydniowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Mosiniak in the 40th minute of play forced AP Tempo's goalkeeper Zbyszek Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Aleksander Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleksander Ludwiczak was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Ludwiczak in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karol Kopacz saved Gortaty from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Cezary Kostka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karol Kopacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Mosiniak in the 75th minute of play forced AP Tempo's goalkeeper Zbyszek Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wiktor Pionek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Kostka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Mosiniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Zbyszek Smolarek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, AP Tempo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Zbydniowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Aleksander Ludwiczak made a precise shot to the right of Karol Kopacz. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Cezary Mosiniak kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AP Tempo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gortaty had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
