Piotrków Trybunalski's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leon Mentus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Domaracki, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Waldemar Domaracki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zgierskie Zlewy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jimmy Berardi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Mentus. Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski got control of the ball when Antoni Falke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zgierskie Zlewy's Jan Andrzejewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Zgierskie Zlewy from getting a goal against them. Leon Mentus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Waldemar Domaracki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Mentus having to interfere. Leon Mentus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaba Bazylnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Napoleon Literski took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Mentus. Leon Mentus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Piotrków Trybunalski's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Domaracki came free, but Leon Mentus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Domaracki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Piotrków Trybunalski getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sebastian Basaik hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Domaracki in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Mentus saved Piotrków Trybunalski from getting behind. If Waldemar Domaracki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Mentus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barnaba Bazylnikov in the 63rd minute. Bartosz Miazga lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Leon Mentus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Domaracki in the 87th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Barnaba Bazylnikov put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Leon Mentus. Piotrków Trybunalski's Leon Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Domaracki in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zgierskie Zlewy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
