After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Janusz Scigan got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Zacisze Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Tugay Katib came free, but Przemyslaw Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Trela in the 20th minute of play forced Czarni Chropaczów's goalkeeper Cyprian Filanowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Przemyslaw Zidane kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Czarni Chropaczów's Cyprian Filanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Trela in the 28th minute of play. Przemyslaw Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tugay Katib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tugay Katib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Taffarel having to interfere. Cyprian Filanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Trela in the 36th minute of the match. Przemyslaw Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacek Lech went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Zacisze Częstochowa's Ksawery Kisiel was substituted for Stanislaw Damaski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Czarni Chropaczów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szczepan Bojanowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Szczepan Bojanowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cyprian Filanowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cyprian Filanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Trela, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Czarni Chropaczów booed when Zacisze Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Kasprzak didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zacisze Częstochowa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Czarni Chropaczów.
