Jurand Borowski charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 22nd minute of the match FC Gdansk36 got a corner. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iggi Kot ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd match minute, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slawomir Wojciechowski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Slawomir Wojciechowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stasio Zachemski. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Stasio Zachemski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, FC Gdansk36's Dominik Wierzchowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vanja Milenković made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Kozlowski in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 38th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Stasio Zachemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Przemyslaw Czerniejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Slawomir Wojciechowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Stasio Zachemski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Piotr Kozlowski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Piotr Kozlowski hit a great ball. Stasio Zachemski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 55th minute of play. Przemyslaw Frankowski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Piotr Kozlowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vanja Milenković firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 65thth minute of the game Iggi Kot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Vanja Milenković was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Stasio Zachemski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Przemyslaw Czerniejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iggi Kot in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Vanja Milenković kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Vanja Milenković didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gdansk36. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after FC Gdansk36's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Przemyslaw Frankowski took the corner. The corner ended in Przemyslaw Frankowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Gdansk36's Stasio Zachemski did a great save. Iggi Kot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Milenković having to interfere.
