The audience thought a goal was coming when Dobromir Ruszczyk got free with Sad Aimar in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gildia Magów's Wawrzyniec Grucza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stano Stanov in the 9th minute of play. Lukasz Fudalej was slow to take the kick. During this time Gildia Magów's players had a chance to rest. Gildia Magów's Piotr Czciborek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sad Aimar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Yelonki booed when Gildia Magów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobromir Ruszczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wawrzyniec Grucza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Boguslaw Major. Sad Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Fudalej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gildia Magów's zone, Arkadiusz Motyl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Grucza came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Motyl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Yelonki supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yelonki would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
