Michel Batistuta started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's Juliusz Jerzyk got a free kick in the 10th minute. Cezary Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Dorigatti struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Przemyslaw Dabrowski made a kick off. Armando Dorigatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Matai having to interfere. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Dabrowski in the 56th minute of play. Cezary Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Bielejewski got free with Cezary Sitko in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Dabrowski in the 63rd minute of the match. Armando Dorigatti struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Roman Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Mazur Ełk.
