Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacek Dyczkowski in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnaba Wachna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Szalone Konie's Tanek Piechocki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Karbowski in the 23rd minute of play. Lukasz Wydrych was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Tanek Piechocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Piglowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Gomar made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Zbigniew Piglowski from a close distance when the talented Tanek Piechocki managed to make a qualified save. Szalone Konie's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Slawomir Gejda got a free kick in the 53rd minute.
