KS Zryw Rybitwy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelmza Team the free kick. Chelmza Team's Marian Glembin was substituted for Mehmet Akif Ceceli. In the 20th minute of the match Zbigniew Boniek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konstanty Klimkiewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Zikri Eygül left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelmza Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 28 minutes of play, Chelmza Team's Segundo Casco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Klimkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konstanty Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Casco in the 38th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Edward Niedzwiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Pawlik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Oosterman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of KS Zryw Rybitwy booed when Chelmza Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Oosterman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KS Zryw Rybitwy fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chelmza Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
