Eilert Henden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronni Arnov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liaböen IF's Eilert Henden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronni Arnov in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot by Oddbjørn Anthonsen from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Lavrits Bjørnfalk's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Nesvik in the 20th minute of play. Jarle Romundstad charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarle Romundstad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Ivar Krasniqi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liaböen IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Oddbjørn Anthonsen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Nesvik in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Liaböen IF's Eilert Henden got control of the ball when Ronni Arnov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eilert Henden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eilif Hofsø in the 58th minute of the match. Ronni Arnov came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eilert Henden could save by the left post. Eilert Henden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronni Arnov in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eilif Hofsø kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eilert Henden. That made the score 2-2 in the 65 minute of play.
