Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Tynemouth Wanderers's Darryl Cummings started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbo Ditsche in the 5th minute of play forced Tynemouth Wanderers's goalkeeper Trey Nevin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darryl Cummings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tynemouth Wanderers's Trey Nevin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Saur in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Mitch Croxford got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ken Saur took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trey Nevin. Trey Nevin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Manfred Klimke took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trey Nevin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darryl Cummings got free with Jacob Kobel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Abbo Ditsche made a precise shot to the right of Trey Nevin. Tynemouth Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Darryl Cummings could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Jacob Kobel however easily saved by the left post. Darryl Cummingss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jacob Kobel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Darryl Cummings in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Kobel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Spandauer Rain Kings defense, Darryl Cummings kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Kobel. The Spandauer Rain Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Kobel should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Tynemouth Wanderers's Jonny Haigh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacob Kobel. That made the score 4-3 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ken Saur was the one to do the kick off. Ken Halliday hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Halliday in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Kobel saved Spandauer Rain Kings from getting behind. Darryl Cummings struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jacob Kobel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tynemouth Wanderers. 57 minutes into the match, Spandauer Rain Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Halliday came free, but Jacob Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Darryl Cummings notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Spandauer Rain Kings's Jacob Kobel. Jacob Kobel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Les Hayles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jacob Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tynemouth Wanderers's Christopher Hedley was substituted for Jonny Haigh. A collision led to Tynemouth Wanderers getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Les Hayles hit a great ball. Jacob Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Amos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liam Roche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jacob Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Ken Halliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tynemouth Wanderers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
