Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Jotautas Bakštys made the kick off and thus started the match. Sam Allanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredas Klenkys's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algimantas Valys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jotautas Bakštys sped through Fletching's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sam Allanson. Vaclovas Jacinaitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Allanson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Fletching booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaclovas Jacinaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Alfredas Klenkys made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Fletching's Sam Allanson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Cross to make the kick off. Sam Allanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jotautas Bakštys in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Alfredas Klenkys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savage Hippo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9.
