The referee ignored Savage Hippo's protests and gave Dangiras Rutkus a yellow card for diving instead. Dar Viens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dangiras Rutkus in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Alfredas Klenkys could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Dar Viens however easily saved by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Dar Viens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredas Klenkys. Harsh Gods's Dar Viens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jotautas Bakštys in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Harsh Gods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naglis Noreika to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mister Bomba in the 25th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Naglis Jonušas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dar Viens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jotautas Bakštys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Harsh Gods was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentas Kukštas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jotautas Bakštys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
