The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Jetses got free with Kåre Hård in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th match minute, Vestegnens Betonhelte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Therkel Rybert to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, lyptus's Rune Perlstrøm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kåre Hård made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qämbäräliyev Zaâmoucha in the 15th minute of play forced lyptus's goalkeeper Paul Minert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Thorvald Peitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vestegnens Betonhelte's Qämbäräliyev Zaâmoucha got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of lyptus booed when Vestegnens Betonhelte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Schøneck didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Rune Perlstrøm made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Rune Perlstrøm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. lyptus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vestegnens Betonhelte the free kick. Paul Minert made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Thorvald Peitz sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Therkel Rybert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Minert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kåre Hård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Kieme in the 70th minute of the match. Thorvald Peitz in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Minert, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 85th minute, Rune Perlstrøm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, lyptus's Nicklas Kieme got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute Vestegnens Betonhelte were awarded a corner. Therkel Rybert went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of lyptus's goalie and right to Bo Dega. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. lyptus's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
