Adam Northe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tavo Talur in the 18th minute of play. Rainer Värnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Krinke in the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Tavo Talur put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Northe. 26 minutes into the game, Xavi Haberer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rainer Värnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The tension between the Rot-Weiss-Essen and the JK Mooras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chris Rösele hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Tom Nahasepp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Northe skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Agur Kasendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After having played for 52 minutes, Fabian Krinke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rot-Weiss-Essen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Krinke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rainer Värnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Alexa in the 53rd minute of the match. JK Mooras's Rainer Värnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Alexa in the 54th minute of play. Helger Noobel charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helger Noobel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rot-Weiss-Essen booed when JK Mooras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helger Noobel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taavi Juss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Chris Rösele made a precise shot to the right of Rainer Värnik. JK Mooras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helger Noobel got free with Adam Northe in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes of play, JK Mooras's Helger Noobel made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Northe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Helger Noobel made a precise shot to the right of Adam Northe. Rot-Weiss-Essen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Helger Noobel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Northe having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Fabian Krinke got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match JK Mooras got a corner. Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Nahasepp ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led JK Mooras's Tom Nahasepp to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Northe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Sandu Alexa notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of JK Mooras's Rainer Värnik. Rainer Värnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Helger Noobel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Mooras's goalkeeper Rainer Värnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, JK Mooras's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Rösele came free, but Rainer Värnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 4-4 when Erkan Fostiropoulos sped through JK Mooras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rainer Värnik. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
