Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Harkujärve JK's Tiit Kääpa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiit Kääpa in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olav Westad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sagene IF's Olav Westad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardi Rahumets in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sagene IF defense, Valdo Heinaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olav Westad. The Sagene IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olav Westad should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janno Arumäe in the 10th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Olav Westad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Janno Arumäe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harkujärve JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With an all-out effort, Sagene IF's Silver Saluste threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vetle Bårdsen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sagene IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vetle Bårdsen in the 17th minute. Sagene IF's Vetle Bårdsen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silver Saluste in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vetle Bårdsen got free with Silver Saluste in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Tom Løland got a free kick in the 25th minute. Harkujärve JK's Janno Arumäe got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Janno Arumäe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olav Westad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Valdo Heinaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Westad. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdo Heinaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 38 minutes into the game, Tom Luik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sagene IF's Christer Kinn quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gerd Öpik made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Janno Arumäe immediately put the ball in play. Silver Saluste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Løland in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Tiit Kääpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vetle Bårdsen made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Valdo Heinaru took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Olav Westad to make any attempt to save it. Harkujärve JK's Silver Saluste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Einar Opsahl in the 58th minute of play. Olav Westad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiit Kääpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olav Westad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiit Kääpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Olav Westad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Heinaru in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Tom Løland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silver Saluste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vetle Bårdsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silver Saluste was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Harkujärve JK's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Løland came free, but Silver Saluste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerd Öpik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silver Saluste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vetle Bårdsen in the 88th minute of the match. Olav Westad made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Valdo Heinaru sent off a good shot on target. Olav Westad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiit Kääpa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Harkujärve JK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
