A collision led to Strib Galacticos IF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Timo Rokmann hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Algitas Girkantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Absoliut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algitas Girkantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner led Absoliut's Agnius Pocius to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunvald Glarkrog despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albinas Gudauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Absoliut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sivart Djursgård was slow to take the kick. During this time Strib Galacticos IF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Strib Galacticos IF's corner Sivart Djursgård fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vaclovas Jurkus quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Oper in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaclovas Jurkus saved Absoliut from getting behind. Andres Oper scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vaclovas Jurkus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Absoliut's Vaclovas Jurkus got control of the ball when Andres Oper tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Oper kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vaclovas Jurkus. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Andres Oper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strib Galacticos IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Oper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Strib Galacticos IF's Vaclovas Jurkus threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andres Oper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Andres Oper made the kick off in the second half. Vaclovas Jurkus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Oper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Strib Galacticos IF's Eske Aggervild was substituted for Bo Mcquoid. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog got control of the ball when Alfonsas Račinskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Šarūnas Žvigaitis in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunvald Glarkrog saved Strib Galacticos IF from getting behind. With a little luck, Strib Galacticos IF's Gunvald Glarkrog got control of the ball when Alfonsas Račinskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 93rd minute of play forced Absoliut's goalkeeper Vaclovas Jurkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunvald Glarkrog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algitas Girkantas in the 95th minute of the match. Absoliut's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
