Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Moritz Christe made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kröger came free, but Basarab Baldovinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Baldovinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moritz Christe in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Hexo Utd getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gintautas Bauža hit a great ball. Hexo Utd's Basarab Baldovinescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hexo Utd from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Jamie Carragher got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ercole Armellini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Hexo Utd defense, Carl Kröger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Baldovinescu. The Hexo Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Baldovinescu should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Moritz Christe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Baldovinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Hardi Tornau got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ercole Armellini came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas. But to his dismay, Paulius Rožėnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Basarab Baldovinescu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Carl Kröger sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Academica Pulheim's Carl Kröger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 44th minute of the match Academica Pulheim got a corner. Hexo Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malte Rastätter ran over to the corner to take the kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulius Rožėnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Paulius Rožėnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hexo Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulius Rožėnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Armellini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Schulitz in the 57th minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Basarab Baldovinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academica Pulheim's Meinolf Rebe was substituted for Pinkus Mack. After 59 minutes Hexo Utd's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Schulitz who took care of the corner kick. Meinolf Rebe made a great header on Academica Pulheim's corner, it was just that Hexo Utd's Basarab Baldovinescu managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's Gabrielius Borgaila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Armellini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Carsten Boy. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Bert Brandes replaced Malte Rastätter. Carsten Boy hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Hexo Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romualdas Misius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hexo Utd's Basarab Baldovinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Schulitz in the 69th minute of play. Carl Kröger scored 3-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basarab Baldovinescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basarab Baldovinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Schulitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 80th minute, Moritz Christe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ercole Armellini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kröger came free, but Basarab Baldovinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Hexo Utd's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian Schulitz took the corner. The corner led to Academica Pulheim's Carsten Boy getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
